Research interest:

We are interested in the p53 tumor suppressor protein, its regulation and its role in cancer and development . An important aspect of our work is its degradation by the 26S proteasome and how this process is controlled. In addition, we are investigating the regulation and function of p53 in stem cells, particularly in the DNA damage response and during differentiation.
