Research interest:

Implication of lysosomes and autophagy during programmed cell death. Our lab is interested on the molecular and cellular mechanisms of programmed cell death. We are studying the implication of autophagy during programmed cell death, either as a survial mechanism or as a cell death inducer. In particular we are studing the role of autophagy during nervous system development and in several animal models of neurodegenerative diseases.
